Help! I just found a bag of 40 tulip bulbs in the shed. I meant to plant them last fall, but I guess I got distracted. Is there anything I can do to salvage them?

Bung them in and see what happens would be my advice to me. I usually don't have to take my bulbs up but have been known to leave them out when I have. Probably won't flower but at least if they put leaves out they will make the bulb happy and store food for next time when you won't forget them :)

Thanks for the advice and my daily jargon fix. I'm assuming that "bung them in" means that I should plant them.

Sorry an Aussi slang slipping in. Basically put them in with out too much fanfare. Maybe pots might be a good idea if you want some control over them.
