This bee was busy a few days ago atop Mount Revelstoke at about 6000 feet elevation.
Can someone nail this white flower? Pleas and many thanks...

now I'm thinking it might be
    Penstemon digitalis....talus slope penstamon?

The problem is that penstemon is only supposed to be in the eastern half of the North American continent, whereas Revelstoke is in eastern British Columbia, a western Canadian province?? Anyone else seen it or know it?

Yes, by distribution, most likely Valeriana sitchensis.
