large shrub/small tree red berries late fall

    Crabapple. Edible, but only for making into jam.

    This is a pear (Pyrus). The common one with pellet-like fruits is the Callery pear (P. calleryana).

    Thank you--I do believe it's Bradford Pear. I've just never noticed fruit on them before!
