Identification: Large Psychedelic mushroom? need I.D.

Hello yall, I live in southern Mississippi and found a mushroom thing while camping, and was wanting to know what it was? I have never seen anything like it. Looks like some kind of conk.

 

ohh... ive never seen one so colorful!... it did have a very "hard" texture to it also.. cool

 

last one ganoderma sp. perhaps ganoderma lucidum

 

Psychedelic, I am not so sure. But medicinal, yes, or most likely. This is a spectacular picture -- the stature resembles Ganoderma lucidum, but the colors are quite different. Look on google for reishi.

I assumed they thought the mushroom had a psychedelic look to it, not that it could have actually been psychedelic.
