Identification: Large pottet plant/tree -- please help identify

Hi there,
I just brought this beautiful 6.5 foot plant home... and it is just gorgeous.... However, I have no idea what it is and how to take care of it! The lady at the store said it was a diffenbachia -- but it does not look like any diffenbachia I know.
Can anyone help me identify it.
It is 6.5 feet tall now and looks like it wants to get taller. It has a somewhat pointed shape. Leaves are dark green, glossy, and large. Largest leaves are 4.5" wide by 7" long.

Maybe some type of Canela, Cinnamomum kotoense
Canelaor/cinnamon tree?
