Ion the top of my Swedish Aspens I have some very large leaves. This is on the top new growth only. Why might this be happening?
Shade, maybe? Some kind of recent nutrient supplement? Tell us what sort of growing conditions your aspen has, and give us a photo if you can.
Normal for poplars to have very large leaves on the vigorous shoots at the top of the tree. I've seen 20cm+ leaves on Aspen, and 35cm leaves on Balsam Poplars.
