I was with @Willard today at the Temple grounds of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which we have not seen since 2019. Thanks to @Josie NewWest for nudging us to visit again. It's really amazing to see so many 'Shogetsu' all in one place. Most of the trees were in full bloom, yet the ones on the east side still have a lot of buds (fourth photo), so there is still time to see them. This site does has one contribution for the (1) Magical two-tone trees | UBC Botanical Garden Forums thread. Even though the 'Shogetsu' flowers are white and the rootstock flowers are white, it's still eligible.
Lots of pink snow on 211A street. ‘Kanzan’ on both sides os street from 85 Ave to 86A Ave. Gets my vote for a Festival Favourite.
How often do you see a trio of ‘Shiro-fugen’, ‘Kanzan’ and ‘Ukon’? Lots of trees still blooming at Alex Hope School in Walnut Grove, including a fine pair of ‘Ukon’.
