we have a huge rose bush which must be at least 35 years old
I just noticed huge white patches on the bark and wondered if anyone could suggest how I might get rid of it...must be mold of some type???

Any help or advise would be appreciated.

    Thank you,

Common and not likely to be of any consequence to the rose.
