I am caring for 13 Knockout Roses at a hotel in town here.Iowa zone 5. Should I cover the crowns with mulch for the winter like the hybrid teas? They are planted as a hedge.

They should not be a problem in zone 5. Mulch the beds as you normally would.

Eric,Thanks.I planted these knockouts in the spring this year, and was very pleased with them. They started blooming about a month or so after I planted them and bloomed heavily until two days ago when we had a hard frost.I would highly recommend them.Wish I had taken a pic to show you.
