I have two kiwi vines which are very extensive, and they bloom profusely, but except for one year when there were 3 kiwis that formed, they never produce fruit. The fact that they did produce once made me think I must have both sexes, but is that necessarily true?

It's possible that the three fruits you found were the products of pollination from another source, some distance away (and therefore a lucky happenstance).

If you can, post photographs of the flowers of each plant when they are blooming.

Since initial contact with this site and seeing photos of male and female kiwi blooms I have determined that all my blooms are female. I suppose I need to find an eligible male for my "girls".
