I have both a male and female plant, I would like to know If I can keep these plant in large box planter to grow in and build a trellis around the planter for this year incase we decide to move them to another area of the house. And since it needs proper irrigation I was thinking that it would work great for the vines.

May not be ideal, but if you may be moving it's probably better to keep it in a pot for now. I have not grown kiwi, but I have read that the support used for the vine has to be quite strong as the fruit weighs quite a lot.

Yes, you can keep Kiwi in large containers for
a few years if need be. Their root systems can
handle it. We had all of our Kiwis in 20" wooden
boxes at the nursery and they did just fine.
