Hi....We have a Kiwi tree growing in our backyard (North California Coast). It produced about three quarts of fruit, and may be a mix of two trees all twisted together. I have no idea about how to take care of them, yet I was told that it takes both to produce fruit. They have now shed all of their leaves, and we are wanting to know how to prune them for next year...any help out there?

Pruning similar to grapes. If you are getting plenty of fruit maybe don't need to do anything, otherwise try searching "kiwi pruning" and vice versa on www for discussion and drawings. Not the kind of thing easily explained without visuals, unless the receiving party is familiar with pruning terminology and methods already.
