Kiwi flowers - how to tell male and female?

    how can I tell a kiwi gender. I have nurseries that have them and they don't even know. I want fruit for my efforts and
    you need both . . . help!

    Good pictures that would explain the gender, but every plant I have seen so far are flowering yet!????

    Or purchase the self pollinating type--Actinidia arguta. We have one and it is a profuse fruiting vine.

    They have an acuminate leaf but the same fuzzy, cinnamon coloured vines s regualr kiwi(especially effective in winter).

    The smooth-skinned fruit is about half the size of regular Actinidia chinensis fruit, but just as tasty and you don't have to peel them -- just rinse and eat, like grapes!
