Hi I am new here I have a question about some king palm seeds that I recently bought off of ebay from a repatable company. I soaked them for three days and then planted some of them in soil and some in vertimine and it has been about two months and nothing I also have them in a plant room which stays about 85 to 90 degrees all the time and goes down to 80 at night. The internet says that they are very easy to germinate but I have had no luck please help!!!! maybe I am missing on something I am suppose to do or a soil that I am suppose to use

    Thank you for future help!!!!

Freshness of the seed plays an important roll. Older seeds take longer to germinate and seeds lose viablity with age. Some won't germinate at all past certain a point depending on genus and species.

    Cheers, LPN.

Thank you all they are sending me some new seeds they said the ones that I received must of been old. I was wondering when I am soaking the new seeds if I should soak them in superthrieve or not. If anyone has can you give me feedback how your success rate was? Or wasn't? Thank you again for future help
