Are you kidding? I'm trying to get them all open before the festival starts! I think we will get everything except Birch Bark Cherry and maybe 'Shujaku', your posting of a couple of flowers in Dunbar notwithstanding.
The two Ukon trees on the north side of Kensington Community Centre (Dumfries and E36) are in full bloom at March 28, 2015.
The Ama-no-gawa trees running along the east side of Fraser and then around the corner on to E. 30, have passed peak bloom at March 30, 2015.
Although its comrades along E. 26 have all gone green, the last Sargent Hybrid is finishing its bloom at the corner of E. 26 and Prince Albert, on April 1, 2015.
The Kanzan trees on both sides of E. 35, running four blocks east from St. Catherines to Elgin, are in bloom at April 2, 2015.
Ann Eng posted some lovely pictures of the Kiku-shidare-zakura on Somerville and 35th on March 28 but today there was no car parked in front of it so...here's another view....
The Ukon trees along E. 29, east of Knight to Dumfries, are just past peak bloom and starting to get red eyes on April 3, 2015.
Avium 'Plena' trees in bloom, in the rain, along E. 20, four blocks east of Knight to Fleming, at April 3, 2015.
Avium 'Plena' trees in full bloom in the sun, both sides of E. 20, east of Knight to Fleming on April 6, 2015.
E.18 on both sides of east and west of Knight, is lined with Kanzan trees, broken by a single Shirofugen at the SW corner E.18/Knight, with half its side in bloom at April 6, 2015.
For comparison, there is this adorable little pendula of a different variety (=?) on private property at 951 Ringwood:
One more shot, this time from St. Catherines, of one of the Akebonos on 30th Ave. between Windsor and St. Catherines:
New street tree planting: 2 baby 'Akebono' trees, on the south side of 29th Ave., just west of Ross St., (where the 'Kanzan' forest is):
'Somei-yoshino' tree (?) (that sure looks like an 'Akebono', but I couldn't get up close without trespassing) on private property, at 808 E. 28th Ave.:
... and the incredible planting just south of King Edward on Elgin Street appears to be popping, but I didn't have time to walk down there yet. Here's a sneak peek:
