Hi, new to this site. I've been searching everywhere for info on gardening now that I've moved into a house with a fairly established garden. One question I have is regarding growing these trees and if it is possible to keep them in pots instead of planting them in the ground. I have a patio I'd like to make a bit more private from the adjacent road, I was hoping to put a few 5' emerald cedars in separate planters to keep along the edge of the deck. The planters i was looking at are a fair size, the top being 20". Any help would be appreciated!
