This plant appeared in my Vancouver garden. I think it's considered a weed, but I can't find an image online that matches it. In the photos, it's the tall plant with yellow flowers, just opening up now. Can anyone tell me what it is?
I also get this and have pulled it as a weed. Not something I worry about. I did not know what it was, but after looking through my Field Guide to Noxious and Other Selected Weeds of British Columbia, it appears to be Hypericum perforatum. E-Flora BC Atlas Page
Thanks, that's it! I think I'll wait until it's flowered a bit more, then yank it out before it spreads seeds everywhere. Sounds invasive.
