    Hello,

I recently bought a gorgeous kangaroo ivy and am not sure how to care for it. It is in a very low light situation, no direct and not a whole lot of indirect. I was told to water it once a week. It is in a 10 inch pot. Right now, it is starting to look droopy and some of the leaves are going crispy on me. I am reluctant to water it more as I have a bad tendency to over water most plants as it is. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

    Thanks,

Your Cissus antarctica is not tolerant of very low light and this is most likely the cause of the plant's sad state. It would not like direct light, but needs a bright location. If its leaf tips are browning and shrivelling it is too dry, but if the leaves are wilting, falling and rotting it is too wet. Perhaps you would do better with a Cissus rhombifolia (Grape Ivy) which is more tolerant to extreme conditions.
