OK, so maybe this can be chalked up to "stop worrying about every little thing", but there are these very small brown spots which are showing up on about 30% of the leaves of my new Kamagata. Ignore the whitish streaks, that's from an aphid spray/moisture retention product. Perhaps the spray is the culprit...

I have other, more "sensitive" maples which look just fine, and they all see the same amount of sun. So I don't think it's a sunburn issue...besides, there is no leaf tip browning on any of the Kamagata leaves. It's just these small spots randomly within the leaf.

Every other factor with my other plants is the same; water, sun, plant size, location, etc. It's just this one plant with leaf problems.

    Anything to worry about?

Edit: If anyone wants to look at the photos, I suggest opening in another window to see blown up.

I'm not an expert on these things, but it doesn't look so concerning. What does it look like on the underside of the leaf?

I think that's just the way Kamagata looks. Mine is just leafing out, but their leaves are tinged reddish brown around the edges, and some of that reddish-brown coloring also shows up as spots, if I recall correctly.

There is nothing there that would cause me any concern

OK, thanks everyone. I'm sure by the end of summer, I'll have quite a few imperfect leaves!
