Does anyone know why I can't find Kalmia latifolia (mountain laurel) for sale in the Okanagan? It’s a good companion plant for Rhodo's so its lack of existence seems strange. Any thoughts? Or better yet if you know of a supplier that would be even better.

They are usually in the retail outlets here , Garden Works, Cannors, Brian Minters, and even small ones at Super Store. They're coming from local growers here. Maybe your retail outlet could order some in.

More fussy than hardy hybrid rhododendrons so maybe it was stocked but there were too many failures in your area so they dropped it.
