    Hello,

My name is Chad and I found your forum through a Google search. Thanks in advance for any help. I would love to find an interactive website that helps me identify plants!

I rescued this tree from demolition and I would really like to know more about it so I can determine its best placement in my yard. It must have been less than 2 years old; the root ball was still formed like a container when I pulled it out. I made an emergency transplant into my yard and it has rooted successfully and provided new growth.

I took some time to find out what type of tree it was. My assumption is that it will remain relatively small because it was planted within 2 feet of the house. After prodding Google for a while I haven't actually found a match for this plant other than junipers that grow quite large and wide. I am concerned it should be move to avoid collision with the fence. It is currently 45 inches tall and the two trunks are 1.5 inches maximum width. All of the new growth is blue but some of the growth closer to the trunk is green.

    Thanks,
    Chad

I find that very likely since I live in Colorado! Thank you very much. It looks like it will certainly need to be moved.
