how do i tell if my bonsai is dead?, i just received it from a friend and i think it is a juniper. recently it has Been yellowing,i have cut and pinched some of the yellow parts off. most of the tree is still green but I'm am worried about it because i have heard that it is hard to tell even long after if it dead? i have recently put it on new soil(it was in normal potting soil and i put in in bonsai soil that drains well) but it was yellowing before i did that.
