  1. Hi! This is my first post. I live in South Island. New Zealand. I teach Horticulture and in my spare time work on our 2 acre garden. We have a climate with cold winters (at least one falll of snow and numerous frosts) and hot dry summers. Along with most gardeners weeds are our biggest trouble!

Hello Jjak, welcome to the forums. A horticulturist - wonderful! It is always great to have new members with professional experience with plants, especially from different areas of the planet. It is good to hear different perspectives on hort methods and garden issues. We look forward to reading about your garden.

    Enjoy the forums,

I believe the English is just a bit difficult to get through, bud. I think it should likely be read as, "Like most other gardeners, our biggest trouble is weeds". That's how I understand it.
