    I am trying to identify this Mexican vine from a painting by Frida Kahlo.
    Can you help?

    I could see it. I wonder if it might be sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas). The style of illustration of leaves and stems reminds me of early Spanish woodcuts of Mexican plants. Could Frida Kahlo have been alluding too these?
