Hi, I have an indoor Jasmine tree, seems to be doing okay, but so many leaves drop off it, but lots of new ones are growing. Is this normal or am i doing something wrong?

    Thanks

Uneven watering? Maybe you have a Murraya, this plant has been discussed previously on this site - you might like to search for other threads.

Please spray with Raid House and Garden and repeat every couple of weeks forever. These things are prone to spider mites!

Also, too much light, too little water, too much water and transplanting will make the leaves fall off. I have had mine since 2000, it is 7 1/2-8' tall and about 5' in diameter. Doing any of the above will cause leaf loss, never all of them, but it comes right back. I prefer to only fertilize in warm weather about every 5 weeks. I have just moved to Houston and am going to try to leave outside year-round unless a frost is predicted. In the past, I always winterized by placing in my garage by a window, letting the temp get cold but not less than about 37-38 degrees, cutting back to about half the water ration per feeding each time it is about dry. Don't forget to spray every couple of weeks.
