Hi. We have a 4 foot tall jasmine tree that experiences periodic profuse leaf loss about three times a year. I've read that this is normal, but I think something is lacking in this plants life. It seems to grow new thin branches, but when the tree looses it's leaves, the new little branches seem to fall off too. It really hasn't changed much in shape or size in 12 years, it just keeps loosing whatever it grows. It does, however, flower beautifully and wonderfully about 3 times a year. The rest of the time it looks spindly and bear. What, oh what, am I to do?
