    Hello list,

Could anyone confirm whether this jasmine is Jasminum dichotomum? This jasmine specimen is very fragrant (growing in Pakistan). Google images for Jasminum dichotomum do match the attached picture however the herbarium catalogue from the Kew Gardens don't look similar (mainly the sepals)?

    Thanks.

I changed my mind think you're correct.

Thanks. It could be J. nitidum or dichotomum. The stems of the plant (in question) are downy and the sepals are somewhat different than nitidum. Is there a key difference between the two?

    J. nitidum is glabrous as far as I know.

Some day we may have the ability to convey the fragrance of such subjects via the web also.

But you won't have to wait for that to have your answer.

I'd wish that too. I think we can rule out Jasminum nitidum because it is glabrous and the plant in question is not.

Any ideas what Jasmine it would be if not J. dichotomum?
