Japanese maples and coffe grinds?

    hello. I have been told that coffe grinds is great for all sort of plants.
    does that include a japenese maple? I live in georgia and even though i brought them two years ago with beautiful colors they never had that color again.

    appreciate any advise.

    Hiya,

    There's lots of advice on the Net about how to use coffee grounds. They are GREAT if you have poor, alkaline soil. When I lived in Austin, TX, I would visit my local organic coffee house and ask them for their grounds. They were always happy to oblige - if some other gardener had not beat me to it!
