Can anyone tell me what may be wrong with my trees? We have two and they are about 50 yards away from each other. They did well for 15+ years but now they are looking like the leaves are dying. The branches are not brittle. I have attached pictures to better show what is happening with these trees. We live in central PA.
Let me know if you need any more info from me for help.

Hmm. I know that here in Columbus there were frost warnings less than a week ago. I daresay that temps have been pretty cold there in PA, too. Could this be frost damage?

We did have a late frost, but we have had them before and it never affected these trees. I'm hoping that may be what happened but my husband says not.

I agree with Togata57, what it is shown in the pictures can be explained as (what seems light) frost damage. Your tree is likely to recover, albeit with a less pretty display than usual.
