I've just bought six Japanese Iris and want to plant them in pots. I'll split them into two pots, but approximately how large a pot would they need? These buggers get big from what I've heard, so I was guessing at 15" or larger.

Anyone got experience with these beauties they want to impart???

Iris ensata is what I ordered, in two different cultivars.

Any wisdom you can impart is much needed! I'm a newbie to gardening so I like my chances of killing the poor things.
