We planted our first Japanese bloodgood last spring. It is about 5 ft tall. We had no problems with it all summer. Now this spring when everything is starting to bud and bloom it hasn't. We weren't for sure if they were later bloomers or if died during the winter. If anyone has any suggestions we would appreciate it. Thanks Chellestree
Last year I was concerned that my 'Aoyagi' was not budding in spite of the fact that my other trees were starting to leaf out I had simply forgotten that it was one of the last to show Maybe your 'Bloodgood' hasn't made up its mind yet? Do the 'bark scrape' test to check for life
