    I purchased a beautiful Jananese plant also known as Scarlet O'Hara, Can this be grown in a 5 gallon pot? or better inground ? Thank for this site .This is my second .question . thank you keep going.

    This is a cultivar of Pieris japonica, a heath family shrub with similar requirement as rhododendrons and other relations. You can grow it in a pot filled with suitable coarse acidic medium and left outdoors as long as it does not have too much sun beating on it during the summer and it does not get too cold in winter.
