japanease red maple

    I would like to know if it is safe to plant a 10 inch plant outside in southern ontario.Pluss i am confused about how much sun is required

    Which is your min/max temperature in winter?which is your cultivar ?please reply

    Kingston, Ontario, Canada
    Climate will be OK, but the cultivar (or at least leaf colour & shape (dissectum or not))will determine sun/shade required. Planting this time of year will allow for some good root growth before winter.
