jade crasula ovata

    I purchased a jade last summer trunk is a about 1 1/2" in diameter stands about 2 feet high really a very nice plant i put it outside all summer long and it did very well but not now i have had in a west facing window all winter watered it a bout 1 a month i noticed that the leaves were getting withered and wrinkled so i watered a little more but it wasn't taking up the water so i decided to investigate i pulled it out of the pot (terra cotta) to see the roots it has only two long roots left the rest have fell off there is no rot that i can see the base of the plant looks fine and is very hard no soft spots at all how can i save this plant please someone help me...........i re potted in to a much smaller pot my soil is very gritty with lots of sand

    Maybe it got too dry.

    All you can do is water more often and see what the plant does.
