I was hoping you can help me ID the mushrooms in the photo. My wife found these growing at the base of a tree at Holden Arboretum. Are these Omphalotus olearius aka Jack-O-Lantern mushroom? Thanks and we appreciate your help!

Hi @JT1 - In my region we don't have this species, so I have limited familiarity with it. Growth pattern and overall colour suggest you are right, that this is a Jack O Lantern / Omphalotus.
