Have just developed this new interst of getting myself dirty in my garden and since my husband and i just moved in an abandoned garden house looks like it is going to take some time to do a garden rescue.

I am more interested in Acer Palmatum species and have plant two different species in my garden ie: inaba shidare and "dissectum atropurpureum". Since we have already done some destruction on the garden (partly) we thought might want get some good ideas of constructing a small Japanese garden...

Its winter now in Melbourne and we do want to have some result by spring... can anyone please help??

Hello Hung Yue, welcome to the forums. Sounds like you have quite a project there. I am sure you will find many ideas on the forums. You will undoubtedly have questions. You may want to ask questions about your maples in the Maple Forum or if you have basic gardening questions try the New to Gardening Forum. And be sure to keep us posted on your progress.

    All the best,
