My friend recently gave me this house plant due to she was moving back to Canada and didn't want to take it with her. I first thought something was wrong with it when I glanced at it (lol) but she said that's the way it came and that it also used to have a pot that matched the pink/salmon/orange color that is near the base/stem of the green leaves, some green leaves also have a thin, single, line going up through the middle of them that color. I don't think this is a flowering plant...it's different compared to my other plants and I'd love to know how to take care of it.

Thank you SOOOOO very much !!!!

Now I see what my problem was in finding it....I was searching for "pink" they're calling it orange haha. Did you immediately know what it was when you saw the picture or did you have to search for it ? If you searched for it, what key words did you use to find it ?

    Thanks again ! : )

I've seen it before so no search was necessary.
