It's taking over the yard!

    Hi everyone! New here. Can anyone identify this for me? This just appeared in our yard this year. It wasn't there last year so we have no idea what it is. Thank for any and all help on this.

    It looks like Lamium purpureum. The plants spread quickly and easily.

    Yes. And it is a great source of nectar and pollen for bees.

    Thanks! I took that closeup pic with my iPad. I didn't think it would turn out that good! Better camera then I thought.
