It's a weed, as far as I can tell.

    It grows like crazy, about all year round, and sprouts up all over the place as fast as I can pull it out. It seems to like wet more than dry, and if I let it go long enough, it gets these little flower like in the pictures. Stays low to the ground, almost flat, and spreads out in a carpet. The scale in the pictures is in millimeters, so it's very thin and delicate when you get up close to it.

    I live in Anacortes, WA.
