The wildflower shown here was photographed near the Fonte Avellana Monastery in the Marche Region of Italy in late May 2014. The flower was growing on a mountain slope in grassy, sunny habitat. I am unsure whether the photo shows enough key features to permit a positive ID. Unfortunately, it is the only photo that I have.
