Is this trillium?

    Roots (?) poked out all summer, and now it has blossomed into this lovely plant...anyone know what it is? We are new to the house, and the garden is new to us...thank you for your answers!

    Looks like native trillium. Western trillium - trillium ovatum.

    Definitely Trillium (wondering if grandiflora). How lucky to find that in your new garden.

    I don't think it's T. grandiflora. The petals are too narrow which is more similar to T. ovatum.
