Is this tree a Sorbus ? Or Malus

    Hi,
    I was thinking it could be a Sorbus (like Sorbus aria), but it looks like the leaf veins do not match.
    Or can it be a Malus, like Malus tschonoskii ?
    Or something else ?

    Welcome to UBC forums.

    It looks like a weedy willow.... Salix caprea.
    Others will confirm/or not.

    Agree with willow, distinctive leaf shape fits that particular species also.
