    Hi

I can't tell from other Images attributed to Porthos in this Forum if my plant is of that type.

(A larger image can be made available.)

Thanks in advance for any help.

    GregP.

It's definitely not Porthos - that would look a whole lot more like a musketeer and a whole lot less like a plant.

For me, the plant pictured is a leggy Aglaeonema rather than a Pothos. Is there any way you can give it more light?

    Definitely a Dieffenbachia.

    Hi

Thanks for the replies (sorry for my late response).

Here is a brightened image, and also a close-up of one section of the plant.

I don't see the curved, vine-like stems in images of the plants mentioned here. If my mystery plant is a Dieffenbachia or Aglaonema, is it a type that's less bushy and more 'viney'?

The "type" of plant you have is from poor growing conditions, not it's heritage. That's why you don't see similar pictures under those names. Could be several factors like being potbound or very nutrient-poor soil, sitting in water or overwatering, too little light, etc.
    I agree with Dieffenbachia.

    Hi

I was wondering specifically about those long vine-like stems. I've always seen them on these plants, even now. (That was a years-old photograph but the best I had and most convenient to send.) None of the other photographs I looked at displayed plants that clearly had those long snaking stems.
