This is another small plant I got in a cacti dish. I transferred it to a bowl of cacti. I have no idea what this plant is and I would like to also know if it is a succulent.

It looks like a species of Anacampseros. These are not cacti. They are succulents. Most of those spiny round of barrel shaped things you see in Home Depot are cacti (tho' by no means all - some of them might be Euphorbias for example). The term "succulents" applies to a very wide variety of plants of many different families with fleshy bits that store water against droughty times.

If you do searches along the lines of "succulent cultivated fleshy leaves" & go to images, you will see a wide variety of succulents...some of them are probably yours!

Yes Virginia, it is a succulent.

    Anacampseros rufescens.

But it won't be a succulent much longer if it doesn't get a thorough watering soon.

    Even succulents have their limits.

Thankyou everyone for your replies!! I gave it a good watering tonite, Steve. I am just learning about these plants that I have and appreciate the help - even if I feel like I am getting H from a school teacher! I've rescued almost all the plants I have and know that I have alot to learn. Willing and able to learn!
