Is This Berry Edible?

    See attached photos. We have these berries in abundance in our woods, South Central Pennsylvania, east coast of USA. Can anyone ID it? Is it edible? My instincts tell me it is not. Thank you.

    One of the shrubby honeysuckles Lonicera spp. Your instincts are right - the fruit are mildly poisonous. You'd have to eat quite a lot to come to serious harm, but a small numer still won't be pleasant.
