Is this Asiatic Bittersweet?

I have a vine killing the trees in my yard. We moved into our first home in November and know NOTHING about plants and trees. Really. Nothing. I've looked at a lot of photos online trying to identify this vine but I am impatient and the photos are all of the vine in bloom.

I'm including photos of the vine covering a tree, old vine close up, root of old vine, & what I think is a new shoot of the vine.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Not sure what it is, but it isn't Bittersweet.

 

Interesting, indeed. Please continue to post recent photographs of it as it develops and it should be identifiable eventually.
