The first one is cattleya is it an skinneri? the second picture with long fat pseudobulbs dont have a tag... is it an orchid it do looks like it is a dendro....what type is it?
For the second photo, I suggest you try to find information on Schomburgkia sp. There are 17 members in the genus from Mexico and Central America. They are recognized by their swollen pseudobulb which is ribbed. The majority enjoy extremely bright light and I've personally seen some growing in direct sunlight. They produce very long flower spikes. And yes, that one is an orchid.
The white flower in photo #1 appears to be similar to Cattleya skinneri , but it is impossible to tell. According to the Illustrated Encyclopedia of Orchids, Cattleya sknneri should have a "club shaped" pseudobulb to 40cm tall. There should be a pair of leaves at the apex and the inflorescence should produce two to twelve flowers surrounded at the base by a small sheath. Since your photo shows little detail with other plants included, it is impossible from this end to speculate. A good tight closeup of the pseudobulb excluding other specimens might help. As shown in the "Encyclopedia", the flower should have a yellow throat.
