Can someone help me identify this plant. I think it is a cactus but do not know anything specific about it. The pictures show it in a 6" pot. The first picture shows an older branch on the right side of the picture that is more woody. The second picture shows new growth. Two or more branches will start at the tip of a branch. Each of these sections of a branch are from 1/2" to 1" long. The last picture shows some sections of some branches that have hairy spines on them. These are usually lower on a branch but not all branches have them. I rooted this cutting from a 20 year old plant which did flower occasionally. The flowers are yellow and about 1/2" to 3/4" across. The plant pictured is about 4 years old.

    I was thinking Hatiora salicornioides.
