In The Garden: Is this a strawberry?

Looks like a baby strawberry to me. These are growing in my back yard, are they edible? I didn't plant them, There isn't a whole lot maybe 3 or 4 plants.

 

Looks like Duchesnea chrysantha. Common name False strawberry.

They are edible but not very tasty.

 

Now Potentilla indica.
