Is this a Lupine?

    This perennial, tall, stalked plant was in my yard when I got the place and I've wondered what it is. The leaves and flowers look like Lupines to me but I can't be sure and haven't been able to find a similar photo online. It's now about 3-4 feet high with purple/white flowers. Photos of flower and leaf are attached.

    FYI CAtMom, Aconitum are very toxic plants. Caution is recommended when handling as even the sap on the skin is dangerous.
